Lisa Mikals is an accomplished organizational leader and operations strategist with over 25 years of experience spanning corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial environments. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas Wesleyan University, Lisa’s career began as a computer programmer before she discovered her true calling in organizational leadership, operations, and business development.
Throughout her career, Lisa has developed a reputation for her ability to bring structure, clarity, and efficiency to every organization she serves. Her expertise includes strategic planning, financial oversight, team development, process optimization, and project execution.
Lisa’s professional journey includes key leadership roles at EVEXIAS Health Solutions in Southlake, Texas, where she currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, she provides operational leadership, strategic direction, and cross-functional management to support growth and long-term sustainability. Before becoming COO, she served as National Director of Project Operations and earlier as Vice President of Operations at EVEXIAS Medical Center, where she was instrumental in scaling operations, enhancing business systems, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Prior to her time in the healthcare sector, Lisa founded and operated her own consulting firm, Virtual Assistant Crossing, where she coached and advised business owners, ministry leaders, and entrepreneurs on building solid operational foundations. She also spent nearly a decade as Business Administrator at Destiny, Inc., a thriving nonprofit organization, where she oversaw financial management, human resources, and ministry operations—helping expand its reach and impact to thousands of lives annually.
In addition to her corporate work, Lisa continues to serve the faith community through her mentorship and coaching.
Known for her balance of business acumen and heart for people, Lisa is passionate about helping organizations—and the individuals within them—operate with excellence, integrity, and purpose.
Outside of her professional life, Lisa finds great joy in her faith, her husband of more than 35 years, Dan, and their five beloved children: Daniel, Adriana, Jay, Sarita, Alannah, and their two grandchildren, who happily complete the family.
