Dr Dana has been my endocrinologist for years and I get excited for my appointments. The practice is picture perfect, her staff treat me like I am family and love that I have never have had to wait to be seen. My A1C has not been above a 6.0 in years and Dr. Dana is to blame. I trust Dr Dana 100% because I know that she has my best interest at heart. I can talk freely with Dr Stallings, she spends time with me, replies to my emails on weekends and has made living with Type 1 diabetes an easier process. I love how engaged Southside is in the community, raising awareness by staying connected. I live in Richmond VA and will take the day off to travel to my appointments. Pam knows that I drive 1.5 hours & always ask if I would like them to order me lunch. I love that Sara and I can talk about personal things while she checks my stats. Words can not begin to describe the professionalism of Dr. Dana and her staff. They are always straight forward with keeping me on track with my diabetes. Dr. Dana Stallings and her team work tirelessly for their patients. Diabetes is a disease that requires a team to help you deal with the fear, the ups and downs, the unknown questions that arise after your appointment that you need answers to immediately, not to mention all the other little insurance problems and billing errors and prescriptions/refills, pump questions and training, scheduling and rescheduling appointments. I had questions on all of it for the last 5 years. I drove an hour and a half for my diabetes care from this woman and her staff because I believe they have my back. Nothing is problem free. The billing specialist fixed my billing problem I had after they opened the office in Franklin, any questions I had were easily and timely resolved via the patient portal or with a personal call back. Every time I got a little emotional with my progress they were there to console and get me back on track. I highly recommend Southside Diabetes as your team to help you manage this crazy disease. If you are considering becoming a patient, go meet DR DANA AND HER STAFF. They are very visible in the community. You will not regret it. I promise.

I learned more from Dr. Dana Stallings in 5 minutes about my diabetes than I had from anyone in 30 years. She is a wonderful doctor with a wealth of knowledge about diabetes and getting you on the right path! Being a military spouse for more than 30 years, I’ve had many different doctors follow my diabetes and not one had the knowledge or the passion she has for her patients. I’m very thankful to have her as my doctor!
