Alan and Kathy are amazing! I have had weird autoimmune related issues for 20 years. I told them doctors did tests and kept telling me, "Everything's normal." Alan and Kathy told me "normal" and "optimal" were two different things and after running some tests suggested a course of treatment. Alan prescribed LDN. I've been on it for around 4 months. Before that, arthritis was deforming my fingers. The LDN decreased my pain by 90%. I have intention tremors that were so severe, a glass would rattle against my teeth when I took a drink. I was referred to a Parkinson's unit for further assessment. It's been months since the referral was sent out. Not hearing from the neurologist's office turned out to be a good thing. LDN decreased the severity and frequency of the intention tremors also by 90%. Twenty years ago, I contracted myo-pericarditis. My heart was inflamed, pericardial sac around the heart was inflamed, and fluid was collecting between the two--which can kill you. I was told it would go away within a few weeks. Wrong. I've had cardiac issues and associated chest pressure for two decades. Both chronically made me feel awful. I had symptoms of neuropathy tingling and numbness in hands and feet crop up as well over the last few years. That has also recently decreased. It's too soon to tell if that has also been improved by the LDN, but there is no doubt that the other conditions were positively changed by that drug. My husband has suffered from neuropathy for years and has tried multiple clinics/treatments (some lasting 5 months and costing over $7K) without results UNTIL finding Alan and Kathy at PurLife in Layton. I haven’t made this public until now, but I have been very sick for the last seven weeks. Basically fighting for my life, but I didn’t want the pity parties. I just wanted to feel better. He paid attention, he listened to all the different symptoms I was having, listen to my own theories that I had… I mean this was happening to me so obviously I was gonna come up with my own theories. Instead of getting sucked in by one symptom, he looked at everything. And I mean I know it’s only been 24 hours but I have been so sick that I know doing better already. So if you ever are looking for a doctor, who truly listens to what you had to say, and or need a different way of looking at treating your medical needs, give them a call and get in and see him. It looks like his little clinic offers a lot of different things.
