Dr. Dawson was amazing. But before I even met her, the front desk staff, the nurses, and the phlebotomist were all amazing.
I was stuck in a bit of traffic on my way in and called the office to let them know. The young woman who answered the phone was so polite and helpful. Then when I arrived, she was attentive, nice, and efficient. She wasn’t on her phone or distracted. She greeted me and answered my questions.
The wait wasn’t long at all before I was brought back, and the nurse took my vitals. She was friendly the entire time. She told me the results of my vitals, and one wasn’t exactly perfect, and I was a bit embarrassed about it, but she didn’t make a comment or react. She remained completely professional and kind the entire time, which really put me at ease.
The wait for Dr. Dawson wasn’t long at all. As soon as I was done with the nurse’s instructions, she was ready for me. Dr. Dawson was amazing. She was warm and welcoming, funny, friendly, and professional. She was thorough in her questions and preventative in her approach. She taught me a few things to look for and even ways to test for a genetic condition I may have but never knew could be tested for. She left the floor open for me to ask questions and didn’t rush me or seem rushed. She was very patient and let me know everything that was happening and what she’d like to do moving forward.
Then I went to the phlebotomist to get my blood drawn. She was also super polite, super friendly, and welcoming, and she took my blood so fast I barely felt the prick. She was really good. I was a little nervous about the needle, but her ability to put me at ease and her skill made the process painless and quick. She also had this awesome hair color, but that’s just icing on the cake.
You would think that would be the end of my review, but no, because a couple of days after my appointment, I got a call from the office. They told me that all of my results hadn’t come back yet, but a few had that concerned Dr. Dawson, and she wanted me to know what she’d like me to do moving forward. They told me she sent a prescription to my pharmacy of choice and next steps, and then asked, “Dr. Dawson wanted to know if you have any questions or any other concerns you may have forgotten during the visit that you need to discuss with her at this time?”
What?!? Top-tier! I was so impressed. All of my labs aren’t even back yet, but the follow-up call was amazing to me.
I would definitely recommend Dr. Dawson for anyone looking for a physician in this area.
